There was one time where there was an intruder trying to get through a window very late at night. It was wierd, the police came.. and every thing was fine… but my cats behavior was off the chart for two weeks, he was so nervous and scared… he was frigtened of everything that never frightened him before, I could not calm him down.. and he started shedding so much hair – I took him to the vet, and they gave me some valiams to give him. He got through it, with much love.. but I always wondered if his reaction was because of the danger we were actually in. He is my forever little buddy.

Just once. My house i used to live in had some sort of “entity” in it and once i was watching t.v and saw a darkness in the corner of my eye. I turned around and nothing was there. Then i looked at my cat and she was staring in the same spot with her ears straight up and very alert to whatever was there. Thats all. Good luck. : )

Judge for yourself: Two young brother indoor cats, one gets outdoors and is killed by a neighbor dog. The other was asleep indoors. In the time it took me to bury the one,(about a half hour), the other started pacing and meowling inconsolably around the house as if he were looking and mourning. The windows were closed, the survivor couldn’t have known about his brother’s death, and yet his actions were so unlike his normal self that it felt very eerie to see him so out-of-sorts. How could he know? His mournful nature lasted about 3 days, and he always seemed to be looking for his pal. Separation anxiety doesn’t explain his mournful demeanor. Spooky.

There’s nothing strange about a dog starting to howl after his family have been gone for a while, all it means is that he is lonely and missing them, nothing paranormal about it.

My dog Tiffy, when I was about 5 years old, she and I used to play in the woods, and there an old farm house there, all fallen apart,
but Tiffy used to race ahead of me every time, and when she got there, she was all exited, wagging her tail, barking, and trying to get up on the old swing which was there, and one day, she laid down on her back for a belly rub,
by the swing, she always does that when she meets someone she thinks is nice, and then she invites belly rub’s!
But she sure was not looking at me for the rub,
it was someone on the swing, and I never saw anyone, only she did!

Yea our dog was making whimperign noises so i went down to go check it. Their was a cage between it and the house and it was sticking its head through trying to run from soemthing. I coudltn see what it was. Its head was literally stuck but tiw as still tryign to get in the house. I freed it but then 5 minutes later it was doing the same thing. SO i let it in the house. Then it stopped making weird noises. When i turned my back to the cage I felt a really evil rpesecence. And i coudl see what looke dlike “orbs’ in my sight and they were floating around my eyes.

Dear friend,
Greetings in peace, love and light. Yes I have a lot of experiences on strange occasion with pets and not only pets but also other kinds of animal especially birds.
Nevertheless, in my experience that these strange encounter somehow always related to someone’s death be at normal death or sudden death. However, most of the time my encounter is with strange behaviour of birds. I still remember before my mother-in-law pass away that in three consequent days a kind of bird keep chirps non-stop that really strange that made me feels losing something unknown.
Finally, the fourth day my mother-in-law passed away. However, I have realized that this strange encounter always happen to me whenever someone going to depart from this world especially those of closed friend and family members.

Last time I have an animal was 30 years ago. So I haven’t encountered any strange behavior with pets. I’d adopted a male dog (husky) two weeks ago and this poor dog stays outside for a long time waiting for me until I come home. Very excited and jumps a lot for five minutes or so then calm down.
I believed that they understood what is going on, because the dog have this lonely or kind of detach behavior when I leave for work. The same behavior five working days a week. Today is Saturday and is now 6:54, almost the same time when I leaved for work. The dog is quiet and laying down. Very relax. Does this dog knows that I am off for work? lol… Very strange indeed. Also this dog gets excited when he hears the sounds of keys. This dog likes to go for a ride, that’s for sure…

I once had a very vivid dream about playing with a leopard cub. When I awoke the dog laying next to my bed was whimpering and acting like something had frightened him or made him uncomfortable. I wondered if he was somehow also aware of my dream.

There is nothing odd about a dog howling.Even if it never did it before.Like people they change as they get older. The simplest conclusion is it missed it’s owners.
I once had a cat that lived in a 1 br apartment with me.She spent the entire first 3 years of her life in the apartment.I took her to Maine with me for 2 weeks. We were in a cabin miles away from the nearest neighbor. On the first day she ran off into the woods. She howled and carried on in the woods for 10 days.I’d see and hear her and she’d take food I left but would disappear when she saw me.
One night she showed up at the door and meowed.I let her in and she pranced in like nothing happened.Never again having an adventure. She lived for another 11 years.Staying indoors at my apartment and later my house.
Animals are capable of all kinds of things including strange behavior like running away or howling for days at a time.I think they’d be insulted if we didn’t give them credit for being individuals capable of surprising us.

I have a little story
My Nana passed and we brought alot of her things to our house.
after everything had been moved in my dog ( a german sheppard and she was my dog, slept on my floor etc) would occasionally refuse to go in there. One day she sat out side the door and whined and paced back and forth and sat but would not come in. My radio station changed not just faded where you tweak the dial and it comes back but it REALLY changed stations…..(she detested current music and it went to a 40′s, big band melody)
Animals…they know, and the spirits do walk among us…but do we choose to pay attention.
I do

Our usually very happy, (even dopey) dog will get hysterical at nothing. He’ll be in the attack stance, growling, barking, at nothing. But if you look at his face, you can see that he is actually focused on something, and he will move according to where it is.

It was actually my friend, don’t be mad! About 3 years ago, when she was 8 years old, she had a very beautiful orange labrador retriever. Very friendly dog. One day, then found it had died. Nothing to spooky, no paranormal things about a dead dog. Well, one night it very late, and my friend couldn’t get to sleep, tossing and turning, no reason to it. Her dog had died about a week before, and when she turned over, she saw him run up to him. Not scared at all, my friend reached out her hand and stroked his head. She fell right asleep at that very moment. Kinda spooky, but very cool.
