Cats should bite, it’s very natural, so I see your problem… how do you get a cat to stop doing something it should be doing but really CAN’T be doing?
Hm. I’ve read that hissing at your cat when they cross the line makes it very clear to them that they’ve gone too far. I mean, it’s even in catspeak for them. They can’t miss it. Other than that, I don’t know how else to help, sorry. Good luck!
You really can’t. Its a natural thing they do that they just cant not do. If it really bothers you alot say ‘no!’ and hit there nose (not too hard!) There nose is a sensitive spot
It is a natural instinct when playing. I trained mine, who is now very gentle, by lightly flicking on his nose. If continues then pick up and stop the playing saying “NO” loudly.Provide more cat toys such as the feather on a stick. Cats can also be trained to tolerate nail trimming if started early. Just clip the slight curve, not the whole nail.
cats are supposed to but maybe if he bites u next time say OWWWW and just make it get louder til he stops and eventually u will only have to say ow normally seeing as cats hate loud noises but don’t just scream OWWWW at first start gentle and grow louder not angrier this may take a while but it helped with my cat
